SOLD - GAME Food Fight (not mine and I don't know seller)

That game has been wet. probably stored outside at some point. If you can tell in 2 bad pictures, it's going to be worse in real life. Might have taken the T-Molding off because its "too thin" for the cabinet now.
That's what I'm saying. When the visible bolts are rusty, the T-molding is missing and the particleboard underneath is dark in color and all jaggity faggity, you know the game has been wet.

I did that once. T2 I picked up from a convenience store that probably spent decades just as a rat motel. The base of it was just rat shit.... the smell (Martin Lawrence gagging in Bad Boys).

Ugghhh... never again. Sniff test always step one!

I didn't bother looking inside the OutRun I bought. I knew it didn't work, but it powered up with an image on the screen proving the PCB was intact, so why bother, right? :oops2: Got it home, opened the door and... Son of a... They had cleaned out the droppings and covered up the smell just enough to contain it until I opened the door after unloading it. Fortunately, this wasn't my first regretful purchase on FB and I had an ozone machine from when I procured by "Ghetto Couch". (funny story there, but probably can't write it as well as I tell it....)

From the seller just now. A klov member wanted me to pass his info long and then he responded with this.

You'd think after $900 in working on this game, he could spell "food fight"

The seller sounds confused about how basic things in life work:

It's worth what people are willing to pay. Simple as that.

Those people telling him it's worth $3000 to $6000 are not buyers. They just just filling his head with nonsense and he is letting them do it.

Your quintessential dopey modern day picker. "That other dude had a Food Fight arcade game and it sold for THIS much, so . . . . "
and without proper research or market watch, they just place a price tag on it.

In the midst of their ignorance and trying to maximize every nickel for the game, what these dolts fail to understand is that it suddenly becomes undesireable at a certain point and a prospective buyer will likely lose interest. In that interim, the price will fluctuate yet again.

I'm all for getting the most for your item, but there's a finesse to doing it. Good Grief.

Happens everyday doesn't it.

Well , I'm the one who ended up with the Food Fight ….. it was completely a weird transaction from the start to finish. The guy was very touch and go and just off about everything to the point I wasn't even sure if I was going to get the machine or not, but it worked out. The rundown on this machine is the bezel , marquee, monitor and control panel are super nice once I cleaned all the soot off from sitting in his garage looks like for the last 40 years. It has 376 plays on the counter and I believe that to be true he said he bought it new and inside the machine looks like he did. Serial number 536. Joystick is tight and responsive and the monitor is crisp The machine does not have water damage, but for sure humidity issues where it has slightly peeled the edges and some of the typical scaling underneath the art at some of the edge areas but it's not swollen. It should clean up fairly nice.

Million dollar question ???? What'd it go for?

You dealt with the soup nazi- I am guessing he took less than was offered several times before.
