So I bought a couple of games and downloaded a bunch of demos. Since I know you guys all give a **** about what I think, here goes! :p

Metal Slug XX - pretty lackluster

Sonic 4 - the inertia of Sonic's movement seems off at slow speeds. Other than that it's pretty much Sonic as you'd expect. That fan remake looks like it might be slightly 'truer' to the source, but I don't mind changing things up so much, you can only play the same game for so long.

Comic Jumper - Holy smokes, I may have to get some more MS points to buy this one. Hilarious dialog, great game, I want to see more! :D

Super Meat Boy - One I bought, as discussed previously, this is a no-brainer for anyone who loves platformers.

Costume Quest - The other one I bought. Adorable, funny, and fun. If you like Tim Schafer's games, this is another no-brainer.

Dead Rising 2: Patient Zero - Looks like a better more refined Dead Rising. With the full game out, I can't imagine buying this unless you were really a huge fan.

Enslaved - Surprisingly fun. It looks worth a rental at the least.

Backbreaker - Madden sucks, this is the opposite of Madden.

Scott Pilgrim - I love the comic, still haven't seen the movie, think that this would probably be fun with four players. With one player it's kind of bleh.

WOO HOO! YEAH AWESOME!!!

Yeah, I tried the demo for all of 5 minutes. If they'd remade it at 1080p or something, maybe. But since it's a port from PSP, it looks terrible.

I agree, but I enjoyed it. $15 is a bit much, though, for how short it is. $10 would be a lot more fair.

People keep talking about this one, but I just don't see the appeal. Perhaps I'll have to give the demo another go.

I think we all know my feelings on this one. I even have a meat boy shirt now!

Yeah. With no online multi, I have not bought it yet. I rarely have friends over who'd want to play, so I'll likely wait until it goes on sale.

Oh man, that explains the graphics part of it... I couldn't figure out why it looked so blurry. It's already not fullscreen, just make it so we can see the pixels, and it would look a lot better, and I suspect it would 'feel' better.

Well, the dialog was a big part of it for me... It wasn't exactly mind-blowing, but the interaction between the hero and that star on his chest, and Brad was pretty great. I also really like the concept of jumping from one comic genre to another.
