Flynn's arcade !

Thanks for posting. One question?

When did ComicCon become the 'cool' place to go?

Don't get me wrong I still subscribe (spiderman and X-Men) and read comics but back when I was in HS I was NOT the cool kid because I read comics it was quite different.

ComiCon shouldn't even be called that anymore. It's much more of a broad convention that just comics nowadays.

it didn't?

Yeah it did, dude where you been? Haven't you heard that Geek is the new cool? If
your an old fashion cool dude then your a dork. All these nuevo geeks are just posers
though back in the 80's I was the real deal :)

Anyway Comic Con is a must attend for everyone atleast once, especially if you like... well... stuff . There is something for everyone there and it is alot of fun, I didn't go this year as I'm pretty burned out on it but part of me still wishes I had.

at least someone finally let me know! ty

Cool place, but if I was there I would have stayed in the arcade room and played some arcades.....:D

I wonder how long those games in the arcade room remained working until they started to overheat and burnup. Games powered up with plastic covering them, not good.

Nice! I wasn't able to get into Flynn's arcade but I did get into the Tron Legacy panel in Hall H and they showed 8 minutes of never before seen footage of the movie. There were 6500 people who were able to get in to see the actors and the entire audience that went is going to be in the movie!!! At least our sound effects will be that is. They had the whole audience chant some phrases and words that will be used in the movie. They also had us foot stomp in intervals. It was pretty cool. One of the chants was "DE--REZ DE--REZ" Also picked up some of the limited production Tron toys :) The Tron box figure was actually a lot bigger than I thought it would be.

Very cool now I'm real bummed I didn't go. Though waiting in the lines for the panels has gotten to be a real pain in the ass these past few years since they started covering the con on G4. There was a time you could just walk right into them.

:( I wish they would do a Flynn's Arcade here on the forgotten east coast, like at Dragon-con maybe.

Anybody get a xtra set of the new tokens want to hook up 1 of us neglected right coasters? Pm me!

Are the machines that are covered in the correct order from the trailor? This would answer a lot of questions about this that have been posted.

If someone who is going would either take a decent video of the machines in order or jot notes down, and them post them. That would be awesome.

Great photos, VectorInvadr! Flynn's was the main reason I wanted to go to SDCC this year, but we're heading into crunch mode at the office and there was no way I could take the time off. :/
