Flynn's Arcade at Disneyland, Anaheim: open through the summer

Originally, I heard this was going to close in January. Then, February or March. Now, not at least until after the summer.

Who knows? Maybe the arcade will end up staying for good. :)

I really hope they make it a permanent fixture. I went back in November and thought it was awesome. It was crowded, too. Much more crowded than the arcade next to Space Mountain, which features mostly newer games.

It's a blast. I just wish it weren't nearly $100 a visit!

Do they have one at Disney World too? I'm going to be there in late March.

I was at Vintage Arcade Superstore on Friday and Gene says he is not aware of a closure date (as most know by now, those are his games, and he maintains the arcade). It's done extremely well....

Anyone know if they kept their word? Is Flynn's still open at California Adventure in Anaheim?

I was just at the DisneyWorld arcade at Space Mountain a few weeks ago. Took some pics of some of the games. They had a few vintage games such as Robotron. They were the newer multi-game cabinets.

Awesome. Thanks for letting everyone know who maintains the games, now Gene at VAS is going to get a bunch of calls from KLOVers who want him to fix the games that have issues. :D

I'm going in August with the family via my wife's work's Club 33 membership. The last time we went, Flynn's and Star Tours weren't open yet. I heard both are pretty sweet so I'm looking forward to the trip. Though, I heard you have to get a fastpass for Star Tours as soon as the park opens and, even then, you have to wait like an hour.

Anyone know if you're allowed to buy like $100 worth of Flynn's arcade tokens and take them home? ;)

Sweet to know they will be open during the summer as I'm taking my family to Disneyland in August as well and can't wait to see the Flynn's arcade.

I'm hitting DisneyWorld this September, but heading to DisneyLand May 2012...glad to see that it might still be there! That being said, I can't think of anything else they'd replace it with, especially if they're going to continue with a franchise.

I wish they put Flynn's where it belongs in the Starcade in Disneyland. They should re-open the second floor & have Flynn's exclusively up there. Back in the day the Starcade was the shiz. They had a Discs of Tron w/ a curtain that went across so you would almost be enclosed when playing the game. I think the 2nd floor is just empty now... what a waste.
