Stopped in there yesterday. They have Target Terror (had an error message on the screen), Big Buck Hunter Pro, Big Buck Hunter Safari, some Golden Tee XX, and a sit down driving game (didn't get the name). They also have over 6 trivia/card game machines and a change machine.

The way two of the machines are placed there is a glare issue as there are three big windows next to the games.

I liked the BBHP and will have to play it some more.

Anyone else checked out truck stop game rooms?

There is a small truck stop up in Reedsville which isn't too far from here.. and they have a small but nice game room. Some for hunting game, a megatouch screen game, California Speed sitdown, and 2 claw machines. The sitdown racing game always smells hot though. I keep thinking one of these days it is gonna catch on fire.

that all sounds pretty typical for the truck stop arcades i've seen the last few years.

if you're really lucky you'll find a MP/G Reunion or a decent-condition pinball, but that seems like about it.

I was a truck driver for a few years and there are some pretty good newer games in a lot of the truck stops. The TA in Ontario, CA even had some huge horse racing thing in there. Mostly racers and shooters though, like everywhere else.

I was expecting something good when I clicked this thread, like some original classics. Did not deliver.

I know Phet and Frizz have spent a lot of time at truckstops, but I doubt they have enough free time to look for games.

I've gassed up at that truckstop before, and seen those games, but they were too new to warrant closer inspection....

Update. I originally said this truck stop was in Reedsville. It is actually in Milroy. Stopped in tonight to grab a burger and all the games are new except the touch screen game.

Those aren't new games in my realm. Those are all garbage!

Those of you that are expecting to see classics in these places need to understand something. CLASSICS MAKE NO MONEY in the wild. Operators aren't going to put old games in these places to keep a tiny population of people happy. They need to put games in these places that truckers like to play and will make money for them. The only classic that your likely to see is a MsPac/Galaga combo.

Maybe I should have re - worded "new". The first time I stopped in there.. they had a California Speed sit down racing game and a Buck Hunting game. This time, they switched the games out and put "different" games in there. Which is a good thing, because last time I was there the California Speed game smelled really hot like it was going to catch fire.

I dunno, call me crazy, but I try to avoid truck stops at all costs.

Most truck stops are disgusting. This one though is actually fairly clean. And really the only reason I stop in is because there is an Arby's restaurant built onto the truck stop... so the game room is pretty much right in the middle of the store of the truck stop and the restaurant.
