Are these 3 prongs off to the side used or just for mounting? Where they are on this fly back is closer then the original.and even bending them they are not long enough to go through and line the rest of the fly back up. The fly back is a 053x0658-001 going in a wg 27"

i don't sell that model so i am not positive but those three leads should have holes in the pcb to go through and should be soldered. also your red wire should not be over the plastic housing and should be through it otherwise you will pinch it and cause problems down the road.

There are holes for them but where they are on this new fly back is like 1/2 inch closer in, so if I put them in I can't get the rest of it to line up.

Without looking up the flyback number, I'm going to guess this is for a k7400 or k7500? I remember reading somewhere, that you had to bend a couple of pins on the replacement flybacks, hence why those few pins were longer. Not sure if it was for those monitors though. Never made sense to me, seemed like a bad idea just in general, concerning a flyback.

053X-0651-001 and 053X0671-001 are the old and new numbers for the K7400/k7500 flybacks and there is only two wires on those. what exact model of chassis is this going on?
