fluorescent bulb/starter for a Universal (mr do) cabinet
I found a post suggesting that a Nintendo 100v fl-10d bulb should be used. I borrowed one from my DK and it worked. However, I have concerns. First of all, it's a 120v cab so I'm afraid it would overpower the bulb (short life?). Also, it doesn't have the same screw in style starter. It has the more standard 2 post quarter turn style starter. It is the right length though. Unfortunately I don't see any indication on the fixture of what it should use.
One fixture has what looks like an original starter in it. It says "FS-2P" (pictured below). The other fixture has what looks like a replacement starter - "FS-25", which doesn't seem correct since that's for a 25 watt bulb (but maybe it's OK to use a 25 watt starter for a 10 watt bulb???).
Yes, I would prefer to use the original fixture even if it means having bulbs and starters shipped at slightly higher cost.
So what bulb and starter should I use for these fixtures?
