What that means ' plus shipping plus paypal fees ' ?

Can't you guys make a simple math to put a total price ?? Paypal fees are to be handled by the seller. I don't think you go on ebay and can say that. Just ask 800$ per item and you have everything included.

People have the choice when using Paypal fees to send using the 'Friends and Family' option, which means no fees for either side, though it does remove some recourse mechanisms for the buyer, should there be any problems. So there is a little more to it, but this gives the option to the buyer to do either.

I guess you don't understand why people do pay via paypal. And that is not an option.
You use the gift for gifts...Items without value to you.

But you want people to pay thousands of dolars as gifts for items they need to use.
Very Interesting...

I do PCB repairs and sales here full time, and sell many high-end items.

All of my payments are taken though Paypal, and 95% of them are voluntarily via Friends and Family, though I don't require it. Most people here know me, and don't seem to have an issue.

This is not entirely true.
At least for INT'L buyer, this option implies the buyer pays fees instead (as there is conversion from buyer currency to US funds).

If paying in ones own country, there are no fees.
Example from PP (.com):

Send money to friends or family
There is no transaction fee when you use your bank account or PayPal balance to send Canadian dollars in Canada.

Yes, I was going to mention that, but international conversion fees are a separate issue.

I know there are options to do the conversion fees either way, but don't know the exact percentages for the fees for one way or the other (buyer vs seller).

well, i guess its a choice, most people can find an online PP fee calculator and figure out the PP fees themselves and anyone that is actually interested in making a purchase can PM a seller with their shipping info and request a shipping total determined by their location

other than that who knows ....
