Looking for a Fluke 9100 probe (cash or trade).

Have a Fluke 9000 probe and other Fluke 9010A items if you are looking for something.

Mike

There's a used test equipment dealer local to me who had a 9100 probe last time I was in there. I just sent him an email to see if he still has it.

I'm looking for a 9000A probe and a 9000A-6502 pod. If you have either you want to sell, I'd be interested.

One of the 6800 series pods can be converted into a 6502 pod. You should be able to do that and save a bit of money.

I'd love to find a 6809 pod - dead or alive - that I could trade for or buy affordably.

Do you know where I can find more info on that? I remember reading a thread on the Techtoolslist where someone was attempting the conversion, but I haven't seen any clear instructions on how to do it, or which 6800 pods can be converted.

OP, I got an email response from the local guy who had the 9100 probe - unfortunately it's sold.

Actually only some 6800 pods have the required internal jumpers that allow conversion to a 6502. I have seen both kinds and have successfully performed the operation on one.

Yeah, the conversion of the one with the jumpers looks straightforward. I was more wondering about the version without jumpers. Is it feasible to convert one? And is there any way to tell which version a pod is without opening it up? Or you just have to buy one and hope for the best?

Converting a 6800 without the jumpers would be extremely challenging. Not sure if there is anyway to tell the 6800 versions apart from the outside since I've only ever opened two.

thanks for checking on the probe - just my bad luck
