Hi

I had a fluke 9100 where the display processor was faulty (Z8613 xrom with piggyback eprom on)

After alot of messing with it I now have 3 spare NEW replacements with the eprom built into the processor pin compatable and programmed to be a drop in replacement to the orignal!

After doing research it does appear the Z8613 xrom suffer with heat over time and go intermittant internally with age which is exactly what happened to mine!

If anyone wants one I have 3 spare all tested working and guaranteed bought brand new (not old pulls) and for £15 a chip plus shipping, I am based in the UK.

(had to buy a quantity just to get the one i needed so offering them here if anyone wants one!)

Might be a good idea to change yours before it goes faulty! the processor on the display board is in a socket so is easy to change (just remember to put it in the right way round!)

cheers

Andrew

Very cool.

Have you had any luck with the Fluke 9010A video processors? I have the blank chips but need to figure out how to program them.

I have a couple 9010A where the display is not working properly. the chip that drives it as an Intel 8041A Universal Peripheral Interface Microcomputer. Swapping in a known good chip and the display comes up. I need a couple of those displays. There is an UV Eraseable/programmable version for that chip (Intel 8741) and I need ot find a way to program them.

ah right, yes my programmer can do those intel 8741, its a dataman 48uxp. I am in the UK so i guess there must be someone in the USA that can program those chips for you, I can do them but would shipping costs be to much for 2 ways travel?? (i have the file for the eprom in them)
