Hi

I am looking for one of these pods (or all): 9000A-z80 , 9000A-6809, 9000A-68000 ?

Please let me know if anyone has any of these for sale.

Thanks

For 68K i saw one on ebay. It didn't got sold for 650$. I doubt they will get sod with more than 500$

Though not in the OP's list, I would say 6502 is the MOST POPULAR pod.

i agree. 2 most popular are 6502 and z80, they can troubleshoot the bulk of the 80's classic pcb's

the 6809 and 68k are for newer late 80-90's pcb's. these pods are not very common and very sought after and rake in $750-1k easily.

...also S&H from UK is going to be around $50+ mark.

then 6809 and 68k around $750~1000 range, USD.

I don't understand why each time someone posts a WTD ad, you feel it necessary to jump in quoting prices. The OP didn't ask for pricing info. The fact that you do this for seemingly every Fluke WTD post here is bizarre. Also your price estimates don't reflect reality IMO and just serve to drive up prices.

One sold for $380 and the other for $499 IIRC. They were both sold as "used" rather than "for parts only" so I doubt the "sold as-is" claim in the description would have stood up but it's always a concern vs buying from someone who has the ability to at least run a self-test.

Good luck with the search. I just sold a 68000 pod to someone here, I've probably sold 7 in the last 2 years so I'd like to think I have somewhat of a grasp on prevailing pricing. If I find another I'll drop you a line.

I am interested also in not working pods for any of the z80, 6209, 68000 or 6502.
Hopefully the prices on these are much more reasonable, than the 'never used' versions...

Seeing all these crazy prices flying around by various sellers, makes me wonder why would anyone spend such amount of money unless they own a museum.
And there must be some number of museum owners out there for sure.

There are dozen of far more cheaper and general troubleshooting tools that work just fine.
I guess most people spending that money ~1000$ / pod (having like 5 of them makes at least 5000$) and not being a museum owner on these obsolete devices they are not even aware of the new technological devices than can make this process of troubleshooting working smoothly with just hundreds of $ to troubleshoot ALL these old systems.
