SOLD ON EBAY (for well above the price here)

I've sold several pods here recently (2x 68000, 2x Z80, 6809 and 6800). Same terms as above. Every buyer has been fully satisfied, please see my feedback profile.

z80 pod. fully grounded OEM cable. Can be upgraded to /AA spec.

Passes self-test. No further testing performed.. Very good cosmetic condition.

$400 shipped (ground, lower 48 US states only). Adult signature required.

I ALSO HAVE 8080 and 8088 pods available, see: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=381713 Sorry, no combo pricing.

IIRC, it can perform specific tests faster than the standard z80 pod

so you're confirming what i already just said in the linked fluke flyer:

No, I'm not. While the clock speed might be slightly faster, there are specific scripted tests or functions that can be performed faster when you define them in your script. The one I remember was in regards to testing memory - when you use the AA pod, you can modify your script to take advantage of the functions and complete the test in less than half the time of a standard pod.

I do not know if it's because of the clock speed that you if can complete these tests faster or not. I'm sure Tony will chime in since he's quite a bit more familiar when the pods than I.

The common Z80 pod can be converted to a Z80/AA (warning, scan is upside-down).

My understanding is that the faster tests are only available on a third variety of pod, the Z80 QT (manual on TTL FTP)— for "Quick Test." It might be that this is a straight ROM swap from the other pod, but I haven't compared schematics to see what differences there are.
