In this Episode of Arcade Bodyshop, we begin the restoration of the Flood Pac Man. This Arcade game spent over 20 days fully submerged under water during the 1000 year flood that hit our home last year. I take you back to the beginning sharing video from that time and sharing how Arcade Bodyshop came to be.

We begin the restoration by sanding, cutting away any bad wood, strengthen the cab with Liquid Hardner, and then Finally begin the bondo process.

Wow, the pictures of the cabs piled up on top of others to try and save some are sad. You must have been going through hell watching the water creep up.

It was soooo hard, You just felt so powerless against it, The water just kept rising and rising. I'm glad to be past it and raising this game from the dead :)

excellent video ... one might even say it was quite the SOLID effort ... ehhhh? anyone?

no, but seriously, nicely done. i'll be getting into actual cabinet repair this year, and seeing some of this kinda stuff eases my fears of completely effing up my already humble collection

can't wait to see the rest! keep 'em coming!

in 2014,i pulled a pacman cab that was in a fire, then the sprinkler system did the rest of
the damage from a basement.
The guy wanted it restored no matter the cost. Everything on the cab had to be replaced
including the side art.
I thought the guy was gonna cry with tears of happiness when i finished.

Where's the next vid? Don't make us get out the pitchforks and torches. :D

Disclaimer: It wasn't up as of last night, but could be up now.

This is awesome!! You're inspiring me to start my Pac restore. Unfortunately the cold weather and relentless snow we've had makes that difficult at the moment. Can't wait for the spring.
