Just wondering.... when you guys are working on a game and the flipper mounting plate coilstop holes are a little stripped, do you dill and tap to, say, 10-24 if they tap clean and tight or do you just replace the whole assembly?? ( hopefully you don't crank a sheetmetal screw into the playfield!! )
Also do you lengthen the EOS leads and turn the coils around so the wires aren't on the stop end of the stroke?? Just curious.....

Depends how bad they are. Tapping to the next higher size is a great option if you have the right tap on hand.

Yes, I generally do that. It's just a better configuration.
