OK, found another quirk in my pinball game. On occasion, hitting the LH flipper will also make the LH bumper up top pop. It's not registering a score when it does this, which is good. But I have tried tweaking switches and I can't find any loose or broken connections. Not a big deal and I can live with it if I have to, but its driving me nuts. Any ideas?

check the switch on the bumper, possibly it is so close to contact that just the little bit of vibration from the flipper causes closing of the switch? Other than that, the usual (which you already said you checked) wiring, loose/crossed connections, etc. Barring all that, possibly a board problem with your inputs? But I doubt that.

The switch is more than likely your proplem as stated above. I have it happen once in a while because I like to keep the pop bumper adjusted real sensitive.

Already tried tweaking the switch. If it was the issue, wouldnt it register a score every time it happened? It only registers a score when the ball hits it, as it should be doing.

I believe there are 2 switches on pop bumpers...1 for scoring and 1 for firing the coil.I'm not sure if that's the case on your machine tho....
