I have a Data East pin that has been experiencing some flipper problems. The right flipper stopped working and I noticed that the fuse had blown. I pulled the old fuse and noticed that it was a 250V/ 5amp Buss MTH fuse. I really wanted to get the game going again, but the only place open was HD and the only thing they had available was a fast acting Buss ASG 250V/ 5amp fuse. What happened was the fuse blew again. I proceeded to replace this with the left flipper fuse to see if it was the fuse or something else and the board literally caught on fire. It fried a couple of the wires just to the right of the fuse at the top of the board. Does anyone know where I should go from here? Is the board completely shot or can it be fixed? Does anyone repair these boards or have a replacement one? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
