I have a wg 19k4903 where the image is mirrored horizontally. I've searched around but I'm not 100% certain what to do and would really appreciate any assistance that can be provided.

here is the manual

http://www.arcadehelp.com/manual/monitor/Wells/K4900_Manual_B.pdf

if I'm reading this right I currently don't have anything connected to Pos H and Pos V sync, I just have r, g, b hooked into that 6 pin connector. then I have the 3 pin connector and wires are only coming from neg h sync and ground.

the pinout for those 2 connectors is

Neg H Sync -- connected
Neg V Sync
GND -- connected

Pos H Sync
Pos V Sync
GND
Blu -- connected
Grn -- connected
Red -- connected

my guess is I need to get the wire running to Neg H Sync to go to Pos H sync

does that sound right? is that all I should need to do?

No, changing that wire will only ensure you have no good picture. You need to either locate the dip switches for the game you have installed and find the one labeled as 'flip image' or swap around two of the wires coming from the yoke to the monitor chassis. Bob Roberts has a turorial on flipping pictures via the yoke:

If the image is backwards left to right, swap the red and blue yoke wire positions. If the image is backwards top to bottom, swap the green and yellow yoke wire positions. Do NOT put either the red or blue wires where the green and yellow wires are - or vice versa....
