Bday is tomorrow and found a working Stern Flight 2000 I may buy. Looks like a cool game, seems to be a lot of repro stuff, too. Anybody have or had one? Opinions?

En route to buy it now. :)

He also has a Stern Galaxy if anyone in Houston may want that. Also a sweet looking pin, but the ball lock maze and multiball sequence on f2k look epic.

Now will prob get a repro pf/plastics combo ordered up. No luck sourcing a repro glass or stencils yet tho...

Got 'er all strapped in for the ride back to Houston. Gonna order the pf/plastics combo when I stop for the night and email to see if CPR is doing another run of glass anytime soon. This baby will be another full resto eventually.

Thanks for the opinions. And if anyone near Eunice, NM is looking the guy still has a Stern Galaxy and some vids (Galaga, Ms. Pac, Dig Dug, Centipede). Deals may be possible.

Yay! One of the best Sterns ever made and probably the best "classic" Stern.

Yes indeed! We had several on our route back in the day and they earned good money. This and Sea Witch are the best classic Stern machines.

One thing to be aware of: do NOT prop up the playfield with the metal prop rod until you file down that sharp point on it. Otherwise that sharp point chews through the wood into the playfield top!

If it interests anyone when I bought the F2K combo from CPR I asked about a glass and he said they are doing another run in about 4-6 weeks. :D
