Ok I accidentally discovered Flicky today and I cant stop playing this sucker. It's extremely challenging and an adrenaline kick. Try it out if you can.

I thought it was to "cute" to be this fun. I was wrong.

Very fun game. It was too late to the party -- 1984, after the crash -- to make any waves. Probably only a couple of thousand were made I'm betting.

Correction, i looked at her high score again. It's at 724,510 wouldn't want to cheat her out of 120k points

I used to LOVE Flicky... I haven't thought about it in so long though, thanks for reminding me! I seem to remember breaking 1mil with my cousins but that may be some misremembering on my part ^_^' Damn, now I want to play it again...

It's funny because I don't remember ever even hearing about this game before. Now all the sudden I'm thinking I want one!

Good luck with that... it's hard to find, never even played a real cab, let alone seen one for sale (I was all about the Genesis version). I've kept an eye out for a long time and never seen one for sale anywhere... but crazier things have happened :D

Mylstar (Stephen) had a Flicky in it's original cabinet which I believe is part of the Bally Six Pack series of games. Not sure where that one went, I think he sold it a few years ago.

Definitely a fun game, cute concept.

Yeah I already sent him a question about that since I saw it in an old post. He didn't have any pics of it though in his listing. I don't really have money for one right now anyway but if it turned up I'd sure be tempted.

I just found this on mame, played it, played it again, played it again,,,,94K. If this game was done with wizards and skulls instead of duckies and chickies, it would be a grail, awesome game

Love this game. It was the Sega Genesis that introduced me to this game though. My best score on MAME is over 2 million though. A lot of my friends make me feel bad for playing it, because of it's theme. lol

I bought one locally on Craigslist for $50 along with a Fire Escape (game) that was also $50. They were just a few miles from my house and both were in great shape. It's a fun and interesting game so I'll second everyone's comments so far.

Both of those games were sold a while back, the Fire Escape went to the Chicagoland show and I don't remember what happened to Flicky, but another collector got it.

Flicky does look like a lot of fun. It would be awesome to see one at Gamewarp in a couple weeks ;):

Pardon me for dusting off an old thread... But I just played flicky for the first time at Galloping Ghost Arcade. AND it's really fun :)

I liked it so much when I played it on MAME that I bought the PCB. Now I just need to build a cabinet for it.

Ha! I saw that you had one in an up n down pcb on vaps and was going to PM you to ask what you're doing with it! :D
