Thanks to a post by Mod, I see that there is a converter to use a tv in an arcade game. http://www.jrok.com/hardware/RGB.html Since my 33" WG monitor in this has apparently crapped out, I am thinking about buying the converter and a flat screen tv for this game. Before I spend all this money, does anyone have any advice?

I believe, according to my rejuvenator, that the tube has all three guns shot. I will make an effort to repair the chassis but I am not willing to spend a lot of time or money on it as it is not the original chassis. Especially if the tube may be toast. At least, thanks for responding. I appreciate your advice.

I just ordered a ViewSonic LCD to test on arcade games. The specs show that it should work, but no one is sure. I have one on the UPS truck...should be here in a few days.

Thanks. I'd appreciate it if you let me know. What size and how much was it?

I bought a 24" for testing. $199 + free shipping. If it works, I shall buy a larger one. I didn't want to spend a lot for a monitor that may not work. Best case scenario is that it will work for EGA (medium res) games. I highly doubt it will work on CGA (standard res) games. There is no question of it working on VGA or higher.

My hope is for it to sync to EGA. I have a post going that I will update as soon as the monitor arrives.
