EDIT- Title should say Seaside Heights, which is in New Jersey!!

Hey guys-
Was at the boardwalk in Seaside Heights today, and made sure to visit the "Flashback" arcade on the boardwalk. I know many of you guys know about this place, but for those who don't, it's worth checking out! It is in the back of large arcade (arcade has a large carousel ride in it) Anyways it looks like they are remodeling the flashback arcade, as all of the games have been moved to a diffrernt room. Off the top of my head here are some games they had:
Turbo cockpit
Pole Poistion 2 cockpit
Spy Hunter cockpit
Rampage
Track and Field
Donkey Kong
Frogger
Tapper
Mr. Do
Mr. Do's Castle
Asteroids
Tempest
Gyruss
Super Sprint
Off Road
Sinistar
Robotron
VS. SMB
Q-Bert
Centipede
Stargate
Star Wars
Ms. Pac-Man
Kung-Fu Master
Also a good selection of pins:
Earthshaker
Whrilwind
Attack from Mars
Pinbot
F-14 Tomcat
Theatre of Magic
High Speed
Junkyard
Hercules
Addams Family
-I'm sure I'm missing a bunch, but you get the idea. It's cool to see these all on the boardwalk, still in operation making money! If you go to the shore, check this place out!!

Awesome Being only 22 years old, i missed out on a bunch of arcade action. It would be awesome to check out a place like that, and blow tons of money on that sinistar cab.

I played the hell out of that Stargate last year. I'll probably be back there in a month or so.
Really cool place.

This is my absolute favorite place to go(that I can readily go to). I will be up there July 4th and I can't wait to play! It's crazy how long you can play on $10 there since everything is a quarter basically. Pinball for a quarter...that's not too common in my generation.

Thanks for reminding me of how much I am looking forward to being there in a couple of weeks :)

it was a blast to be playing good williams pins along with several other people. at any given time, nearly all the pins were being played.

I just got back from there. It was nice to see the spy hunter working for a change. My stepson now wants to trade my dkjr for a spy hunter. :( we probably played more pins than vids once the kids got done beating the simpsons.

A couple of games that are there that were not listed earlier
paperboy
punch out
galaga
millipede
Space invaders
Space invaders deluxe

oh yeah, mr do's monitor is begging for a cap kit.

In other news that isn't really news, the dk machine still has an 8 way restrictor on it, and I still can't beat sinistar.

I took a run down there last summer. My wife is a beach goer much more than I so when I saw her wandering into the arcade about an hour into me being there I knew something was up. I asked her what was going on and she said there were several fights breaking out on the beach and it got uncomfortable. It's a good arcade, just be mindful of the fact that you are going to have to most likely deal with problematic surroundings....I recall Kung Fu Master didn't move right as well, that makes the game a bit challenging. Only place I can play a dedicated Sinistar cab though around here.

They're bringing busloads of animals to all the beaches. Its not just Seaside.

We had some shitheads trying to steal my kids buckets in stuff in Wildwood. When I told them to put them down, they offered to buy them for a dollar. I was also pretty sure we were going to witness one of them drowning. It appeared to be some kind of camp with 50 kids and two counselors/zookeepers.

I was there the beginning of this month but it wasn't open.

I called the night before I made the 45 minutes drive from where we were staying in Beach Haven and the guy running the place insisted they'd be open.

When I got there, no dice. I was bummed.

I don't think I'll ever be that way again. We aren't making any more trips to the shore.

I also always hit this mini-golf place in Beach Haven where they had a small arcade to play their Punch-Out. This year they went through and replaced everything with redemption games. Another bummer. It was not a good trip for gaming.
