I have a flash pinball that I purcahsed in "a lot" of 6 games
after doing major cleaning changing the battery holder on the main board
I powered it up lots lights...... no sound.
It does some strange things maybe several issues or 1 common.
Hopefuly someone has seen this before.
sound.. pushed test button got a single tone nothing else game play is silent
it may if it wants to, give me tone on coin up ( I have checked fuses and board connections and reseated the rom)
strainge things... If you start the game it (if it wants to gives your credit back to you)
and the coin door coil ????? moving it by hand will add credits.
this is my first time diving into a pinball......... any help??
Thanks

Flash are known for having crappy chip sockets, SCANBE equals junk! I brought one back fom the dead, needed all new female connectors between boards, new ROM & sound chip and 5101 RAM just to get it going. Then it needed more for the resto.

The test light LEDs are not 100% accurate, not until you can get it running, they will mislead you until.

If you have not already, see this link and do or check what's mentioned for common issues.
