Im re-assembling my Flash Gordon and would like to remedy an issue it has.

Honestly im a little sketchy as to what exactly the problem was, but im pretty sure that the upper pop bumper fired randomly, and when the flippers were activated.

When I first got the game, the pop bumper did not work at all, so I re-soldered the red component (pictured below) because it wasnt hooked up and thats when the problems surfaced.
It is obvious to me that the diode (I think thats it) is much larger than all the others, and someone obviously worked on this in the past.

I want to replace these components and go from there....anyone know where to buy them and the proper ratings of them?
Thanks!

Originally the diode was a 1N4148 and the cap was .05uF. Ed should have the parts you need:

I would also take a look at how the switch is adjusted. That could be part of your problem. You might even be able to make it work with what's there.

Thanks a million.
I had checked the switch adjustment, just forgot to mention it in the original post.

Went to Radio Shack on my Lunch Break today and got the replacement parts I needed.
Hoping for the best.
