I recently put on some vertical grade laminate on the sides of my cab.. I THOUGHT that I took extra care to put enough glue on the edges to ensure they would not come up, but they are.

Can anyone recommend the best way to try and re-glue this down without ripping up the current laminate?

I was using 3M spray90

Thanks.

Some contact cement and a roller. You can use a rolling pin or a wine bottle in a pinch, but apply the cement to both surfaces and then let them get a little dry and tacky. Then press them together with a roller.

Thank you for the reply.

I am a bit concerned though because I am worried if I pry back too much on the material that it will snap off.

it's just around the edges that are coming up and it's only about and inch and a half that is lose.

Use something small and soft to wedge it open while the glue cures (the cork from the wine bottle you'll use to roll it!)

You can also use the spray again, but let it get tacky before pressing it together again.

If all else fails you can remove the laminate panel with a heat gun, sand/scrape the surfaces clean and start over again.

Beautiful, Thank you!

I don't know how but on one of the sides towards the bottom a dime sized chip came off. Is there any know good compound for repairing a small spot of chipped away black veritcal laminate?

The easiest way would be to find the chip and glue it back on. Otherwise I'd just paint the spot black. If you wanted to get really anal about it you could use some bondo to fill in the divot and then sand, prep, paint.
