I have an original coin-op pop-a-shot & the scoring unit has just went crazy, displaying random digits and a constant buzz from the speaker. Anyone have experience with these?
The attached pic shows an identical type of machine for reference. I've called pop-a-shot and they don't have anything for the old machines.

I would lean towards a power supply issue. If the game has not been moved recently. Also check the connections. It could be that the connections have heated up and caused a grounding issue.

That was my thought also, but the power supply is testing at 13v ac which I believe should be ok, it's a 12v ac ps.
I'm going to pull and re-seat all the socketed chips next and see what happens.

FIXED! After pulling the main board from the scoring unit, I found a broken
leg on the large capacitor (bottom left in the pic). Replaced with a new cap
from Parts-Express and it works great again.
