I bought an Operation Wolf 4 weeks ago and today I finally got to put .50 cents in and play.
I picked it up off eBay for $180.00 as non-working
Fixed main pcb and sound by robbing chips off another board. Replaced optic sensor but end up being no -12v to the sensor. Fixed aux power supply with re-cap and transistors. Had the chassis replaced (by arcade buffet) and bought a "like new" monitor from a forum member who is local to my area. Reconnected many broken wires in the cabinet.
I read on the forums about Operation Wolf and how it is difficult to repair. It's difficult but a very nice feeling when you get your arcade game working for the first time.
Next project is rebuild TMNT 4 player, which I will post photos of the rebuild.
