Fix it felix jr.

Might get hate for this, but I'm going to say it.
Kangaroo and Popeye are still both better games then Donkey Kong :D

I have one in my collection i built from a gutted jammatized cab, its also my vertical mame cab and works well for that, and its always expected every year at California extreme arcade show and there is always a line to play it.

Depends on how well it was built vs original disney machine with some sort of proof that it was...

I see it as a conversion and conversions were very much a part of our history.

But its not well regarded amongst most of us because we work hard at collecting, restoring, and preservation.

Its been said 100 plus Nintendo arcades were converted to FIFjr by some company for Disney.

I don't know if the number is true, but it definitely hurts the hearts of us Nintendo lovers..

I wouldn't destroy an original machine to build one.. and the way i see it, my cab is closer to being back to original from where it was when i found it, thats for sure...

I don't believe any DK cabs were harmed in the making of FIFjr cabs. They were all new.

This sounds much more believable then Disney running out and buying a ton of DK cabs to convert.
If that were true then you would have had a mass run up in price during that period by the sheer volume of cabs they would have had to buy to complete their project.
Not to mention it would have been much easier to buy brand new CNC cut cabs to do their project. Strictly from a business standpoint using new aftermarket cabs makes much more sense.

I dont think Disney was really the issue it was all the other people who just had to have one and converted perfectly good Nintendo cabs.

There were maybe 10 or so of those just in my state and you cant tell me those were all new cut cabs.

Auh, well thats cool, i heard that Disney converted them, but it sure does sound more likely that they had them scratch built. This also makes more sense why they would have had the art department make them look older, because why would that need to happen on an already old machine lol.

Ive never really invested any research into the subject, ive just heard the same shit over and over again.

I could never imagine taking apart and original intact surviver to build this game.

The only reason it remains and is one of the most played games in my collection is the fact that it also runs mame on that PC, and works great!!
