Fitting/Location of MsPacman Cocktail Cab components...

I am preparing to build a reproduction MsPacman cocktail cabinet, and not having access to a sample cab I am unsure about a few details.

Can anyone help with a few photos and a few measurements ?

1. what size cutout is made in the floor of the cab for the mains on/off switch (the metal push button mounted on the round indented plate) and at what location ? -> I need a photo and some measurements relative to a corner)

2. Is the switch plate (in 1 above) screwed to the inside of the cab floor, and the switch accessed through the hole in the floor of the cab? or is it screwed to the underside of the cab ?
(ANSWER FOUND - FOUND ANOTHER INTERIOR PHOTO)

3. The cab plans i have show three [oval?] holes, and three speaker rills. Parts lists only show one speaker. Are there two speakers ? One for each player ? If two speakers are they wired in parallel or series ?
(I HAVE A PHOTO THAT SHOWS ONE SPEAKER to LHS OF PLAYER ONE - i just cant tell if there is another one form the photo. the schematic only shows one speaker, so i am a little confused as to why three speaker grills if there is only one speaker!)

I've done the same project but adapted the original design to accept new parts like a fan cooled power supply that also handled the on/off switch.

As for the speaker grills- one speaker, I like to mount it in the lower hole so it's away from the monitor (using a shielded version, but taking the pants + suspenders approach).

The other two false grills are for ventilation.

The bigger challenge is going to be mounting the monitor, have you worked that out?

Here's a couple pics of mine in process.

on my Ms Pac cocktail, the power plug and the power switch are goign from two seperate holes in the 2nd player side of the bottom. The power plug is closer to the coin mech and the power button hole is closer to the side of the hinge.

Mike,

thanks for the reply! and nice job on the cabs!

on question 1, DOH! i had lost my copy of double check kyle's plans - found it again and damn it was there after all .

on question 2, well, found another photo so that answered that one. :D

on question 3, thanks for the advise on the speaker and vents. a little confused for a while there but no longer! whoo hoo!

and lastly, i scrounged an original monitor mounting bracket set and monitor bezel so i am using kyles plans for this reproduction unit so it should come together nicely! :D

last task left to sort is nutting out the wiring loom and what everything connects to.

thanks mike!

thank you also for the reply and that does help thank you :)

i am still trying to figure how the mains lead is connected to the original harness/psu board i bought and the pacman manual is not clear on that point.
- does your mains power lead go through the hole and terminate to a 3 pin mate n lok type plug to connect to the matching MnL socket on the harness ?
- does it used spade connectors to connect active, neutral & earth to the line filter ?

thanks and only a few mysteries to go !

Cheers! :D
