When I turn on my machine from cold start... the display is missing a few horizontal lines and there is a pretty high pitch whine coming out of the speakers... over time this sound diminishes... likewise the missing horizontal pixels eventually begin to function... also there is one section of the display that pixelates goofy when an image is still during game play.

I've checked the connectors and stuff...

I'm thinking it could be a couple of things... #1 the display driver board could be a bit flaky... perhaps bad caps? creating the weird behavior and noise coming out the speakers... and #2 maybe the display RAM is failing.

I've checked pinrepair.com its description of the failing RAM is pretty much what I'm seeing... but the noisy warm up behavior I'm seeing is not characterized on his site.

I'll probably rebuild the DMD driver board and see what if anything improves.

Are you getting measurable DC voltage at the speakers during warm up? I wonder if you may have some caps that are on there way out or something.
