Took my 20 year old son to Galloping Ghost today. Got there when it opened at 11 am and left at 6 pm. OH. MY. GOODNESS! They have 961 games packed into three/four (?) storefronts. It just keeps going. I liked the atmosphere, and it was not busy on a weekday afternoon. I got to see the rarities discussed here and played a couple. I really liked the Rock-Ola Nibbler, Omega Race cockpit, and Timber. Died way too quickly on Major Havoc, Quantum, and Eyes. I played working versions of my projects, and am now psyched to get them up and running! Made the top score on a few. The world and GG records for some of these games is insane. I am a new fan of Robotron and Gyruss, and will add them to my "get" list. Didn't get into Robotron BITD, but I love the moving and shooting in all directions. And Gyruss is like a cylindrical Galaga.
We will go again because we didn't get to the pinball building a couple blocks down, and it's only 90 minutes away!
