First time I've ever seen a complete one in person...

Too bad it's not mine.

Picked this up last week for repair. It had been sitting broken in the guy's garage for the past 16 years. Took 5 of us to get it on the truck (with a lift gate) - one to hold onto the end on the lift gate, one to operate the lift gate, and 3 to pick up the other end as it went up, then roll it onto the truck. got it strapped in (along with a Galaga3 in a converted Galaxian cab) and got it to the shop. Another 5 people to unload it (different people except for me).

Had a bad power supply, bad monitor, bad light sequencer pcb, every fluorescent bulb was burned out, and it was covered in cobwebs and dirt.

Well, now it works just fine, and will be returned on Monday.

Wish I could've gotten better pics, but our bay door needed to be closed so we could see it lit up, and there isn't much room to move it around....

BTW - I think the people are planning on selling it. And they seem to know these typically go for $3000+....

Now, it looks to be in fine shape... it should fetch good $$$$ :)

Nice pickup! I think many guys are drooling over your purchase. I will echo everyone's sentiment - "Damn, wish that was mine!"

Not my purchase. I'm a repair tech and this was a job I picked up last week. It's going back to it's owners on Monday.

And I should mention - I have already had several PM's asking for contact info in case these people sell it. I will tell them I know people who are interested, and will post here (or in a new post) if these people DO want to sell and would like to talk to any of you....

That think looks so minty, my pants are fitting funny.

There are a few small nicks and gouges along the bottom edge, especially on the right side (when playing), but nothing bigger than an inch or so. And a few scratches on the art, but nothing all the way thru. And above the left side door (when playing) it looks like someone put some packing tape on it, then peeled it off, leaving the dark blue showing thru the black.

It's in very good shape, but it's not "minty"....

About as good of condition as you will find one that hasn't been fully restored.I have a feeling the owners may be putting this up for sale very soon.

As Tron Legacy movie hype ramps up, I think more Trons and Discs of Tron are going to be coming out of nowhere and winding up on ebay. Like all the Moonwalkers when Michael Jackson croaked!

I'm not interested in buying until I get a full review from AMR about how much damage there is to this one.
