I had family and friends over for a BBQ yesterday. Through conversation with a long time friend, his 8 year old son said you have a real pinball machine? I told him yes and took him to the game room. The look on his face was priceless, I bet he played games for 2 hours. This was the first time he had played pinball other than a computer. He fell in love with attack from mars and did rather well achieving multiball on several games. He had so much fun, he gave me a big hug and asked if he could come back and play again sometime. Unfortunately, I did not take any pics.

My kids have friends over all the time that had never seen a real pinball machine. I recently bought a jukebox that plays 45s, none of the kids had even seen a record before, let alone a 45 juke.

that is awesome! thats really the best reason and reward for keeping the old machines alive.

It is always fun when my friends kids come over and see a pin for the first time. The last time this happened my friends eight year old asked for a glass of ice water. My friend grabbed the ice cube tray and the girl had no idea what he was doing. At eight years old she had never seen an ice cube tray.

Awesome. That is a great feeling when people are just amazed that you have your own machines. I love watching other folks enjoy my machines. Makes me all warm and fuzzy.

Great story, when kids are over at my house they always go nuts for the pinball machines as well. Very cool to see.
