A few weeks ago I was checking CL as I'm sure most of us do and came across something that looked promising. "3 buildings full of arcade games." I was bummed because it was posted late Friday and I didn't see it until Monday since I had a busy weekend. I emailed the guy anyway. A few minutes later I get an email back. It was a guy I knew from high school. He said there were 3 storage units of games and other crap. He said some op went and looked at it and was all excited and was sending some guys over to get it, but they never showed. So I went and looked at the and I promptly accepted the price he threw out there. So I just finished getting the last load today since we had all kinds of crazy snow and stuff over the past few weeks. There were zero keys and I haven't tested anything yet. Anyway, here is a quick list off the top of my head.

Misc Arcade stuff
5 or 6 used trackballs
2 new 3 inch Happ trackballs
8 or so misc control panels
A bunch of Cherry Master type bezels and a few cardboard game bezels
20-25 boardsets (Simpsons Bowling, Roc & Rope, Twin Cobra, Pac Man, bunch of IT boards, several newer midway boards like Blitz , Cruisin, and Offroad Challenge)
8 or 9 monitor chassis
about 20 monitors
10-12 Coin doors
At least 50 coin mechs
Several bill acceptors
2 change machines that need to be put back together
Couple of trashy marquees
3 guns

Cabs
Blitz 99 (empty)
APB (looks complete)
Street Fighter 2 (dynamo cab with just a monitor and marquee)
X-Men COTA (dynamo Z-back looks complete)
X-Men COTA dedicated? (Capcom cab missing B Board)
Dynamo Solitaire Challenge (looks complete)
Midway Shuffleboard (looks complete and pretty nice. Cool looking game)
Megatouch Gold (no coin door/bill acceptor)
Touchmaster Classic (dedicated upright. never seen one of these)
Golden Tee 2005 (Atari Showcase Cab. No monitor)
Dynamo Showcase cab (No monitor and no pedestal)
Lethal Enforcers 2 (no monitor or boards, but guns are there)
Sarge/Demolition Derby cocktail (Empty. Gonna have to turn this into a DD as Sarge would be damn near impossible)
3 or 4 video poker type machines
Couple of other cabs I can't think of at the moment
PGA Tour cab (This is the real gem in my eyes. The op was in the middle of converting this into a Golden Tee 2008 when whatever happened to him happened. The CP is on, the marquee was in a box, and a brand spankin' new boardset is in the bottom of the cab.)

Other stuff
4 truckloads of trash
2 nice cordless drill sets
Newer looking laptop
Nice 3 piece table set missing the glass tops :001_ssad:
Water heater that looks like it was ripped out in a hurry (foreclosure maybe?)
Old Vacuum cleaner
Weird vintage truck parts
2 dollys
Box full of PC Parts
~200 books
~50 books on tape
Copy machine

I have many hours of testing and fixing ahead of me. Total price... $300.

WOW...

Congrats, man - that's a great haul! Did he cut you a deal since you knew him from school?

Kind of. He was asking $400 from the other guy. He just wanted it out. The storage unit owners asked him to get rid of it for them in exchange for him taking over the units at a lower price I believe. Apparently the dude just stopped paying in early 2008, and the units have been sitting there ever since. It looked to me like dude had financial problems. I think they were originally storage for his arcade route, but then he threw all his personal belonging in there when stuff started happening. Then I guess he ran out of money for the units.

thats sweet man!!! I love op "junk" raids and i use the term junk loosely. Junk to them, gold to us.

There is a lot of junk for sure. He must've sold as much of the good stuff as he could before he lost the units. It should be alot of fun to go through all this stuff. I am excited about the APB and GT 2008. I have been looking for APB for ages.

The only thing I will be selling in the near future will be empty cabs on CL. It will take a while to get all this crap sorted out.
