Don't plan on getting more than one....so I have to make the right choice, once it gets upstairs it's not coming back down lol....have it narrowed down to two....One I could not find any info here....I don't really want to go to pinside....having no experience with pins, being I'm pretty good at working on vids....I would think the learning curve wouldn't be too steep? I have it narrowed down to two pins....a Stern(Jaws Premium) and a Pinball Brothers machine(Predator pinball) awesome looking theme, but after searches here there there's no info on the company or this pin, probably because so new...

Just wondering before I throw my hat in the ring....we have played Jaws at Cidercade in Austin and love it, seems like a safe bet but this looks pretty awesome:

Looks pretty wicked lol:

If it is your first pin, I would recommend a later run Premium from Stern (if budget is not a major concern). Stern, while not my favorite with the themes, has the most experience in the business and the build quality is more consistent than some of the smaller operations. Now if you want to dive in and learn, restore and rebuild, I would recommend a 90s Williams, probably a Superpin.

Thanks, yeah Jaws seems like a safe bet and the wife really loves it too.....Not really looking too much to restore....only pin I would even consider for an old pin(for nostalgic reasons) is a Haunted House cause I love that one, but we're pretty set on buying new....again, ty!

Tron Legacy LE is one we dreamed about but missed, pretty much unattainable....we've given up on that one....I'm sure Tron: Ares will probably get a pin....but, while we LOVE Tron and will see the movie.....NIN is unfortunate lol....don't know if I can handle that.

Jaws is definitely a good choice. Deadpool Pro is also amazing and a wee bit cheaper if I were going just a single pin and it has a cool music mod available.

A local distributor told me Pinball Bros doesn't have the best reliability. If it is your first pin, might want to be aware of that and also I don't think they have the rights for Arnold so that makes the Predator pin kind of disappointing IMO.

OK, I'm an original Predator fan, and have 0 idea how that pin could even be remotely successful without Arnold. It's bad enough doing Jaws without Roy Scheider.

What's next? An Equalizer pin starring only the fat Hispanic security guard?

Stick with a newer Stern for your 1st. Predator looks cool but a botique company pin is a gamble. It had taken Jersey Jack 10 years and they still aren't to Sterns level. Except for maybe Harry Potter.

We appreciate it very much everyone!
Jaws is FANTASTIC! Skip the pro go with premium on that one.
Thanks....Yeah it will be Premium or nothing for us! If you're gonna have ONE in there to stay we're gonna do it right!

Totally...if you watch the gameplay vids the "get to the choppa" was pretty bad lol.....It's brand new, they may still get Arnie in there

Thanks, that's exactly the info I hoped for(Parts and reliability, there was little info popping up in the search when I looked for Pinball Brothers and this pin....but man what a theme...no Arnold definitely hurts) ....Good grief though, cool AF!:

This was the one that made me chuckle.

Good luck.
LMAO! Limited space will keep us in check here lol

I'd hesitate from buying from a smaller, newer company like Pinball Brothers. You should go to Pinside to help with research. If you have the budget to buy new in box, I'd say go with a Premium Stern (Godzilla, Jaws, Jurassic Park, King Kong) - more support and better re-sale market if you want/have to resell.

Pinball is big money compared to Vids, do your research.

Planning on just having one will be difficult :)

Yeah believe you me we've been play shopping pins for a while, the cost makes the ass pucker pretty good lol....we're definitely aware of that...we only plan on having one....and Jaws Premium looks to be the one......When Tron Legacy LE ran into the unattainable category we were a little demoralized towards pins for a while....but playing Jaws Premium lit the fires a little bit again, plus we're coming to the end of our journey as far as filling the game room soon...(have room for 2 more vids and a pin...(it will be chock full as MF in there but it will fit). My wife insists on a pin being in there more than I do before it's all over lol... Thanks!

I would also look at the remakes of Midevil (sp) Madness and Attack from Mars by Chicago Gaming. Those are rated some of top rated games, even though they were released in the 90's. Some used resellers offer a warranty too, just in case there's something no longer on the line that you might dig.

If you haven't already do a date night or two of going to a few places with pinball, both with the ones you mentioned and others you may not have played/considered. It may open the door to a different game you dig more, or solidify your certainty that Jaws is the one for you.

Don't get a pinball bros as your first pin.

JAWS is great. You can get a prem at a deal right now because of the people who want to 'upgrade' (downgrade) to a 50th edition.

Appreciate the suggestions, we're pretty set and the wife is pretty sold on Jaws(there were a bunch at Cidercade)...the fact that she was open minded about the Predator pinball when I showed her the videos was encouraging(I was shocked TBH lol)....but I'll probably take the advice here about Pinball Brothers...still looks cool AF though and the theme....Jaws is a little in the horror category so that also works for our arcade:)

Yeah, date nights are few and far between for us(special needs kiddo parents).....any pins we would get to play are at least an hour away. Again, man thanks!

Awesome, yeah man Jaws seems to be just win all around, the people who know a lot more than us about pinball than us are raving about it's gameplay....I feel like we're lucky a keeper is out while we're looking....and again most importantly my wife and I loved how it played...we have one chance to get it right....and thanks for the heads up and advice there!.....Pic of us from way back in ancient times....we appreciate ya'll....thanks guys!IMG_20250726_0044.jpg

But if you want a freaking great pin check out Metallica Remastered. I've got 3 Stern pins on location (TMNT, JAWS, Metallica R) and Metallica is by far the one I play to most.

I almost got a billion yesterday and it was a blast.
