Picked up a Klondike on Friday. I wasn't planning on the purchase but kind of stumbled into it.

Pictures tomorrow when I can unwrap it and put the legs back on. I'm sure I'll be asking quite a few questions in order to get this playable. Any initial thoughts or words of advice would be appreciated.

Congratulations, I had one too (well the european version, 'Jackpot') and really loved it.
One of the few pins I regret selling.
It's an e-m, when there are no parts missing then you should be able to get it working again.
When you want to learn to repair e-m games I advise a book by Henk De Jager (sold in the usa by Steve Young as far as I know). That book really describes everything in detail.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm pretty excited about it. Luckily there is a guy near me who does pinball repair for $40 an hour. I'd like to fix this up myself though so I'll definitely try to get a copy of that book.

As I mentioned, here are some pictures of it setup in the garage until I move it into my basement.

Looks good. Repairman? You don't need no stinking repairman. What's wrong with it? A lot of EM fixes are simple. Best advice is to not go crazy trying to adjust switches.

After getting it together the score won't reset (the 100 reel) and it keeps lighting up as Tilt. The pendulum isn't hitting the sides so I'm not sure if the switch needs adjustment somewhere.

Also, it looks like a lot of the switches are already touching. Because I literally know nothing on these, I don't want to start futzing with stuff and making bigger problems for myself. I really haven't had much time with it yet so I'm not counting myself out quite yet...

There's more than one tilt. Check that they are open, behind coin door, under playfield, and if its got a ball roll tilt. That one will be behind the plumb bob tilt. The score reel most likely just needs taken apart and cleaned.
