I guess if I want to be one of the cool kids, my title should have been OMGWTFBBQ....Mappy!

Just got back with this one. It was only 38 miles away.

Monitor is not working but the game plays blind. I used a monitor extension cable and plugged it into my pacman to play a few games.

New CPO on the way. Anyone have a good condition marquee or bezel for sale? All the red has faded from the marquee and the bezel is flaking. The game will need a bit of cosmetic work but at least it works. Never played this one back in the day, in fact I don't remember ever seeing it, but I got hooked on it in Mame. Fun game.

This makes 20 games in the basement for me!

Cool! I recently got one too, and like you, MAME was my intro to the game (my son found it in MAME). Looks like your side art is perfect!

I guess the top box is not supposed to be yellow? Kind of looks good that way.

CPO is ordered and the front decals will be ordered this week (along with a years supply of t-shirts - check out thisoldgame.com if you don't know what I'm talking about).

Congrats on the new addition! Mappy is one of my favorites, got mine this past summer. Had to go a lot further though.

Nice get. Mappy rocks. A hard game. I lost MANY a quarter in it back in the day. Once you figure out what you are supposed to do, and how to max out points, the game is lots of fun. I'll get one someday to go with my Jr Pac in a matching cabinet.

Yeah, this cab would look cool next to a Jr Pac. I was reading up on scoring and it is more complicated than I though. Fun game.

Oh now that is just awesome! My birthday is coming up in a couple weeks so I think I'm going to ask the wifey and kiddos for this as a present.

Thanks for the heads up! :beerchug:

What is with the yellow marquee? Is that how it was released? Either way, I hate it. I'd prefer a white marquee. However, if yellow is how they released it, that is how I'd leave it.

I have a nice bezel I've been holding onto to sell for someone in need...its was one that was in my own minty mappy until I found a NOS one...it has no fade..just a few small blemishes..very nice..these are near impossible to find in nice condition...took me 8 years to find NOS one...otherwise I was happy with this one..

Hey I think that top box is interesting...that color was used for Professor Pac/Pacland cabs...I bet they used scraps from some of those to make that..never seen that scrap used on pieces that were visible..usually you'll see something like that used on bottom of cab where its only seen from inside or bottom...I had a cab that had ms pac art on bottom...:D

Here's picture of cab I think your marquee box was made from and below how marquee box should look...

Cool looking game. I have never seen on in person. Now you need to find a Jr. Pac to go along side. They look damn good together.

Darin reproduced the marquee a while back too. I don't think he has any left.

I think the yellow looks pretty good, but it doesn't sound like it is original. I'll probably go back to white.
