I'm not talking about location games, but games you've owned and one day you just realized you didn't care for them anymore. You feel like you can hit every shot, the modes no longer hold any interest for you, or getting jackpots is like a walk in the park. I'm kinda shocked, but that has just happened to me with my WMS Indiana Jones, and I'm listing it for sale. Others I've had it happen with.

- Hurricane
- Fish Tales
- The Getaway (though I miss it now)
- Super Mario Bros. Mushroom World

For the most part a high score is enough to keep me playing a game over and over, but for some reason I stopped caring about my initials with these games. I'm not saying that they're bad games, I just grew tired of owning them. I'd definitely drop a few quarters in if I saw them on location, however.

I get sick of games just because I want something new. I have sold a few games over the years that I wish I kept like Theatre of Magic, Attack from Mars, Indiana Jones and Star Trek the Next Generation.

I'm hoping to sell my Indiana Jones and get an Attack From Mars or do a straight across trade. Also am hoping to get a White Water, but AFM is holding priority right now.

I'm trying to find a Tales of the Arabian Nights. What can I say I like Popadiuk games!

I'd have to say Creature from the Black Lagoon. Great game but for about a month straight I just played it to death. And getting multiball is a fairly repetitive process.

Likewise Bram Stoker's Dracula. That's a game you really have to play a lot to get your ramp aim spot on. I stopped playing it for like a month and when I went back I realized I was going to have to re-learn the thing. Just wasn't up for it.

I also tend to lose interest in games that I get the grand champion score on. I found a location place with an addams family that the regular expert players apparently don't know about it. Consequently, Grand Champion was still factory set (I think 200 or 250M). I got GC on my third or fourth game at 284M, the score replay, outlane special and 2 credits for getting GC. I just left all 4 credits.

Austin Powers - Fun and lighthearted, but after a while it got too easy...I'm on my 20-th Multiball, I just wanted the game to END.

Back to the Future - My first game....but once I learned more about games w/ 'rules', it was way too obvious that there is NOTHING to do in this game except start Multiball.

Jurassic Park - The dino eating the ball is cool, but the gameplay is like a clunky version of Addams...and I've got Addams, didn't need to keep JP.

Class of 1812 - Charming, funny game ....but just too simplistic. I liked having it due to it's "oddball" nature....but I just wasn't playing it anymore.

Indiana Jones (Stern) - OK, I never owned it, but I got bored of it at the arcade. :)

Hmm, I think for me the game I have grown tired of is No Good Gofers. The hole in 1 shot is the only really satisfying shot on the board for me. The rest of the game is pretty good, it just doesnt hold up to the likes of TAF, TOM, and CV.

Really!? I love the speed of the loops, and doing ramp-loop combos to increase the multiplier (or to lite Extra Ball) ....I love the randomness of each hole's wheel-prize...that alone keeps things very spontaneous. Not only is the slam ramp satisfying for Hole-In-One...but how about the Super Jackpot!? That's fantastic! Short Circuit on the 7th hole is very cool...and the Hole-In-One Challenge "Wizard Mode" is a sweet goal to work for. Plus, I just love the characters and music so much....Gofers is a keeper! :)

I got tired of all those and I didn't even have to own them. Now the IJ, I'm not sure. I probably would get bored of it, due to thrashing it a few times early on. That tends to kill the long term appeal of a game.

I wouldn't say I got "sick" of any of them, but this is basically why I've sold past pins. Not that I ever got tired of them.

Sick was a poor choice of words. I didn't get sick of any of them I just had the itch for another game and I had played enough of them on my own. I'm not the most patient person when it comes to buying pins.

I got about 3 good months out of my Party Animal before I was done with it. It was sort of a drain monster on the outlanes, it took too long to get multiball, and I found that I didn't really care a whole lot for the shots -- especially the way the ramp shots are set up.

The real kicker, though, was when I brought home my Data East Simpsons. After I added that game to the lineup, I didn't even turn Party Animal back on till I was showing it to the chap who would end up being its new owner.

Roller Coaster Tycoon. It was fun for 3 days. Shoot a couple ramps, then shoot up the middle. Shoot a couple ramps, then shoot up the middle. I got to the point where it was set to extra hard (or as hard as I could) and I would get wizard mode on the first or second ball just about every game.

Even the modes were basically shoot this ramp then that ramp. Or shoot scrambled eggs, and the shot doesn't even work. Then for multiball it's shoot the ramps. Then for super jackpot you have to shoot a ramp.

I've always really enjoyed RCT, but I've also made it to the wizard mode on more than one occasion, so I have to wonder about its longevity. A buddy sold his because he got to the wizard mode after owning it for 45 minutes. Kinda killed the thrill for him.

I think a lot of the new Sterns have the same problem (too easy, games go on forever, etc.), but there are a few that just kick my butt. POTC and Simpsons come to mind. I guess I like harder pins, those are the ones that keep me coming back.

If anybody tries to tell me that they've been to Valinor without having owned a Lord of the Rings, I'd know that they're a liar. Even then I'd be highly suspicious.

When i had my Simpsons I had the damnedest time keeping the ball alive, its a hard game!

I'd love to find a LOTR.

I was on the last TV mode before Alien Invasion on Sunday and rather than doing the safe thing and trapping the ball I got greedy and went for the mode completion. I drained.

probably, but part of that was i just needed the room for a ms pac, would still rock a comet for the right price

I have had my Pinbot for over 10 years. It is a really boring game to me now. I am torn on selling it though since it was my first and is in immaculate condition.

I wish I could get good enough at baby pacman to be bored with ;)
