This one could be a repeat but it will give some of the newer members a chance to join in.

What was the first game you bought and when.

I picked up a Final Fight for $275 in Denver, Co 4.5 years ago.

I guess this doesn't count but in 98 I picked up a Mortal Kombat 2 for free. I wanted it to put another game in it but just left it the way it was. The vendor thought the game was broken but when I got it home and plugged it in it worked fine.

10/02 I bought a Carrier Air Wing ($225 Canadian) and a S.A.R. Search and Rescue ($25 Canadian) at auction. The SAR got converted to Time Soldiers, and then eventually sold. The Carrier Air Wing is undergoing a transformation into a multiJAMMA set up.

Let's see. Not counting the 4 free games I got. It would have to be at the auction last month. Pole Position for $100 (can) and two NEO*GEO's for $35 (can)

Non working Sky Shark for $100 January 2005.

All I HAD to do was pull out the interlock switch and the monitor came right up.

Hard to remember but I think my first was a Gorgar Pinball. Bought in 94 for $450. Wife did not like it as it was evil and the heart beat sound freaked her out at night

Had it in the living room. That was back when before she broke me down and I still had balls. If your reading this dear I am just kidding

For to much lol. Before that I was given a Asteroids deluxe

I picked up a Galaxian Cocktail and an Astro Fighter cocktail at a thrift store for 20 bucks about four years ago. They are both for sale now if anyone's intersted.

Geez, my first games were Star Wars, Q*Bert cocktail and Baby Pac-Man back in 1992 or 1993. What sucks is that 10 minutes before I got there, the guy sold a working DL for $300.

This was before I was on internet so I had no idea there were other collectors. Or about ebay if it was around then. This was like 94,95.
