the gorf-r-do was the very first game i ever bought... was still running the midway power supply.. has a nasty cold solder joint on the +5 and thats all it took to get it up and running. At the time i had no clue it was a conversion.. untill i found this place. Man ive come a long way.

This is, regrettably, the earliest picture I was able to find. Indeed the only picture I was able to find. I believe the first 3 I bought all together were this Millipede, a Gyruss and Mario Brothers. Although there might have been a game or two before them...I really don't recall. Anyway, this was after we moved to a new house and I may have some pics of the old game room somewhere. I hope so. My wife left me so I don't know where anything like that is now.

I just didn't think to take a lot of pictures pre-kids.

Here is the begining to my fever. Tron was first, then came Space Invaders, then came Ms Pac. That room is not packed to the teeth with games.

Damn. Seeing these pics almost makes me want to go to my ex-wife's house to pick up some of my old arcade pics. Almost.

In 2005-2006, my "gameroom" consisted of Berzerk, The Addams Family, and The Creature From The Black Lagoon sitting in a loft area that overlooked my old living room. Man, a lot can change in 5 years.

I'll play on this one! This was my first real "arcade layout", I had my Kiss pinball for over 10 years, it's now gone and some newer DMD games now take it's place. I also got rid of my MKII, the longer I collected the more I realized that the early 80's games were what I really wanted in my collection. This DK will be in my collection forever, it's the first arcade cabinet I purchased!

Man, I thought this setup totally rocked too! If I only would have known then what my obsession was going to turn into... LOL.

I don't know if this counts as a "game room" per se, but here were my first two games that were both fully restored.

Ironically, the DK Jr. I sold over a year ago is up for sale again by the guy who bought it from me. CL right now for $375. As much as I would love to own it again at a great price, I'm scaling down. Someone save it!
