First, as far as I can tell it's the 1976 'Home Edition' with no coin operated play. From everything I've read this seems to be a less than desired model and not worth a lot of money. No bother, it's a family game room piece that I intend to keep based on sentimental value rather the dollar value. Been in the family since mid/early 80's and I'd like to be able to pass it along. For the most part it's in good condtion. A few years ago it had all rubber bumpers replaced and a good cleaning when my brother had it. It didn't get much play so I took it over. It turns on, and all the bulbs light up and flash as they're supposed to. The problem is the bumpers only work on start-up (they stop working after a few seconds) and the start button does nothing. Also, the score counter wont light up. I don't know alot about pinball machines, but I'd prefer to not spend more than it's worth fixing it. That being said, anyone know where's the best place to start looking? Power supply is what I'm thinking? Ideas/thoughts/comments before I start taking it apart? What to look for? Thanks for any help you can give!
