Picked up this MK from by buddy kyle.. complely restored somesort of dynamo cab with a different dynamo cp on it.. i think its a cross between a bionic commando and a gurrilla war cab!!

Anyways he did an awsome job with it. new vinyl through out the whole cab, new t-molding.. re-powder coated coin door new artwork, lighted buttons on the cp (i helpd install a few months back ;)) even came with a double jamma board, which i am going to install TEKKEN 2 in it.. so it will be a MK2/T2 fighter!! all i need is a 120v switcher to make it work without monitor blur!!

it was a MK1 i turned it into a MK2!!!:)

heres some pics of it!

I like it, i just have a question for any MK owners...

When i set it for Attract mode sound ON i get attarct mode sounds, but it dont last to long. It goes silent after like 4 cycles of it, until another game is played then it plays attract sounds, then it goes silent again.. is this suppose to do this?

Not the way I prefer my MK cabs, but shit, that one looks ultra nice and well done. I kind of like the cheese factor of the LEDs.

I recall the MK2 in my garage (or was it 1? Fuck, can't remember now) would do something wonky with the sound. LIke it would do music for several of the loops. Then stop for a few loops, then pick back up again with sound effects only. Weird.

thanks man, anyone know what the dip setting LOW BALL on/off is??? like what does it do?

that's low blow. it has to do with game play. i just leave it on. makes it harder to play.

the attract sound only runs for ten minutes and stops. all of them do that and there is no setting for it. i like it and wish it had an on off setting.

i have 3 out of the 4 midway cabs. i need a MK3 to complete my cab line up.

the dynamo cabs hurt my wrists to play on for any decent amount of time. being 6'3" i need the cabs up on blocks to play them correctly.

but the one i had in a dynamo had the buttons close enough to the stick i could play it one handed. and win most of the time.

love that game it is my favorite.

lol.. yeah man thats it low blow... lol...

yeah the thing is alittle tight spaced when it goes to play 2 players on it.. playing a fighter is alittle different then playing guerilla war... But it doesnt take the space up like a MK.. MKII i think is the best of the series.. i use to own on the genisis version... tring to pull these fatalitys off on the arcade version is alittle difficult then the home version...

Holy SHIT, man, that's a nice looking Dynamo conversion. That's about as nice as I've ever seen a MK look in a HS-2. Very nicely done.

I, too, wish the attract mode audio would remain. Not sure why it shuts off after 10 minutes.

i will agree with the last few posters, that's a very nicely done conversion. as for the attract sound it only cycles 4 or so times before it goes silent (this is normal), it's to save arcade employee's from going crazy from all the sound.
