Finished touching up my Ms Pac .. and discovered some cool history

Hey guys,

I spent all day today touching up my Ms Pac. I had been putting it off for years. I was lucky and got a perfect color match for the blue (there were a bizzillion small spots that needed to be touched up).

I think it turned out pretty nice. I really like this cab because there is no fading like you typically see.

This game came from a surplus auction at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. According to a small 'property of' tag on the upper right side of the cab it spent its life at Integrated Support Command Kodiak (ISC KODIAK AK) which is the largest operating base of the US Coast Guard, in Kodiak, Alaska. I think these are the same guys that help out ships in distress in the Bering Sea, including the Deadliest Catch fleet. I am a fan of Deadliest Catch and Pac-Man so, to me, this is pretty neat!

that's real cool. my old as hell gottlieb pin has a navy base tag on it from the san francisco area, makes you wonder how much action the machines got on the bases.
