I finished my first 60-in-1 cocktail arcade . I bought it thinking it was a original Pac-Man with the intention of restoring the Pac-Man until I found out it was a Stern Scramble cabinet converted into a Pac-Man so i decided to make it into a 60-in-1.
I have replaced almost everything except the glass top, cabinet, and speaker.
What do you think it's worth ?
All comments and suggestions are welcome.

That looks great!!!
As far as value you could easily get 600$ on craigslist and if you wait awhile it could bring around 900$

Thats really kick ass, I want one too.
which games are your favorites?

Also, that looks like a very clean installation, can you give a list of the parts you used and your sources for them?

My favorites are galaga3 and donkey kong.
I replaced almost everything, I first gutted the old cabinet and started from scratch. installed lcd monitor, monitor bezel, power supply, buttons and joysticks, control panel lights, jamma pcb 60-in-1, new coin door, new coin counter, control panel overlays, top glass underlay, fan, side vents, power cord, power switch. The only things original are the cabinet, glass, and speaker. It plays great and I love the LCD monitor.

I'm sure I'll be keeping it for a while. I really like it. I probably have about $1200 in it, including the $480 I paid for it thinking it was a original Pac-Man. I still have the original workng Pac-Man board with speed chip installed that i could probably sell.

I used a lot of online sources including : mikesarcade.com, jammaboards.com, twistedquarter.com, ebay, arcadeshop.com, paradisearcadeshop.com, and a few others.
I purchased most of my parts from mikesarcade.com

you must have some good resources. just my monitor and 60-in-1 cost about $300 together. Then you have all the other parts, it all adds up quick. I could have cut some corners and saved some money but wanted everything new.

im not sure where your buying your parts from but a 60-1 is pnly 75$ these days and a 21 lcd monitor is only 99$

Its funny, my story is the exact opposite of yours.
I bought mine with multi in mind, but when I found out I had an original Pac Man, well, I had to shift gears and think about doing the right thing.

I might be interested in buying that board from you.

How's the delay with the LCD? I have a 60 in 1 and there's a little lag.

I haven't noticed any delay in my LCD. I did buy the LCD that said it was made for gaming, I don't know if that makes any difference or not. What game do you notice the lag in and I'll try to duplicate it on mine.

let me know when you're ready for the board. It was working fine when I took it out. It has the speed chip on it. I'll sell it for whatever the going rate is. I noticed some low prices for the board on ebay. I've seen them for $99. I thought they would go for more than that.

I bought the "A" quality 60-in-1 for $149. I noticed there is a cheaper version "B" quality for $89. I wanted the better version.
I bought a 19" LCD monitor with the flat case made for gaming, It seemed to be of a better quality and mounted and looks better than a cheap plastic framed computer monitor.
Again I am new to this and am sure there are some short cuts and some cheaper parts. I did not want to "jerry rig" anything, to me this turned out to be a quality built cocktail arcade that i am proud to have and show off.

I didn't jerry rig anything on my old multicade cocktails and I don't plan to on my new one and I can still build it for less than 400$.

Did the monitor and 60-in-1 come from the same place? Which merchant for each? I like em.

Im a bit curious what kind of diffrences there are between the A and B quality boards. They wont see alot of abuse in my home machines but i dont want to cheap out on the main part either

I bought the 60-in-1 board from jammaboards.com
This is from their website:

The differences between the original 60-in-1 board (sometimes referred to as the QA or Quality A board) and the 60-in-1 QB (Quality B board) are:

•The 60-in-1 QA board is created and manufactured by the original xx-in-1 board maker (who also created the 19-in-1 and 48-in-1 boards)
•The 60-in-1 QB board is a 'cloned' copy of the original board, built on a less expensive board design platform.
•Both 60-in-1 Original (QA) and 60-in-1 Cloned (QB) function, play, and sound exactly the same when operating - there is no rela difference between the boards other than the hardware and cost.
•The 60-in-1 Original (QA) board includes a 6 month warranty / The 60-in-1 QB board includes a 30 day warranty.

Both are bootleg, unlicensed and emulated. So there is no big differences. i think the main issue is getting the trackball to work on the "b" board
