Here's the before and after photos. I used to play Gladiator (1986) all the time, and I knew I wanted to own it. It only came as a kit game, so I know that not everyone enjoys this sort of thing. I'm proud of how it turned out, and it will be a permanent fixture in my collection.

about control panel.

The cpo was already stuck on that control panel. I was lucky to get my hands on the control panel, and was able to use it on this empty cabinet. Believe me.....I would of had it scanned if it was unused!

Is the cp missing the little stickers? Like sword up,sword down etc? With instruction sticker? I have them I just need the cpo.. looks awesome man. Did they ever make side art for.it? I was thinking about getting some custom side art made...

Never found side art.

This panel was missing the stickers. I've heard a mention of side art one time by searching these forums. Somebody said that they saw an EBay auction with side art in 2002 or something. I wonder if really it was side art from another game that somebody misrepresented as Gladiator side art. I hope it does exist though.

Thank you guys for all the compliments.

Awesome! I can appreciate that game since I played it BITD and I have one now too. Mine is in a Defender cab and needs some love. LUCKYMAN and I have talked briefly, but I have a NOS CPO that I would love to get reproduced for the community. Just don't know who to go to about that. If anyone reads this and knows, let me know. There was never any side art for the game that I know of.

Les cpo

Hey Les,
That's exciting to hear that you have the original cpo. What you should do IMO....... Go to a print shop.......I'm talking about a small business that offers to make high quality banners for businesses. Tell them that you just want them to give you back a high definition computer file of the art on a disk or flash drive. That should be pretty cheap. Then that file can be posted online on these forums. Anyone who wants to have one printed up can do it on their equipment or take it to their printer on their own dime. You don't have to pay to print them up yourself, but it would be really cool of you to distribute that file for others to use.

P.S. I've done this before, but I didn't ask my printer what kind of computer art file he put the image into........and I also don't know if they are scanning it or photographing the image. Maybe someone else could chime in on how that works. And I wouldn't use Kinkos or a big place like that..... I'd recommend a smaller place with a good reputation to protect so they don't lose your art.

yeah i didnt think there was side art. Definitly would be cool to get the title screen as custom side art. You know the guy on the horse!

anyways i had the cpo but it ws on a beserk cab and it was beat pretty bad. but, i was able to save the 1p,2p, sword button sitckers and instruction block. They are in really nice shape. just like the pic below..If i ever get a cpo, id just stick these on and get some plexi over it.

doesnt look like alot to it...
