Just got done building my new monitor all from parts found

Frame $17
4900 Chassis $free
Tube $1
Yoke $10
Deg coil $7
New Purity Rings $5
Ground Strap $3
Cap Kit $10
New flyback $29
New Power Cord = Stole from the TV

so the damage was $82 + shipping...not too bad for a burn free tube. Hopefully she last's another 30 years. only thing really left to do is dial in the convergence on the edge's and possibly change the width cap later. i don't know what game i'm going to use this on it so i'll wait to see if i have to change it.

Turn off the flash when taking a pic of the game screen so we can see how the colors look without the flash washing them out...

Glad I got those 4900 reproduced they are spec on and work great. Key measurement readings while running between the original and repro I couldn't find a difference. Even the image width was exactly the same. Which it all should be. .just glad the repro went smooth. no flash picture would be cool. 4900 should last you a lifetime now :)

I glad you did it chad, the 4900 has proved the most maintenence free/trouble free out of all the monitors ive ran across. Im glad theres finally a fly available foe the damn things, so thank you.

I bought a 4900 flyback from you and it's working great in my Q*Bert. :)
