I'm back! After almost 3 weeks of working on my mother's house in Omaha Nebraska I'm back in North Carolina getting ready to get back on the road picking up games. I hope to be on the road by Friday. I would love to find a few more games in the Charlotte and Atlanta area that need transportation. This trip will take me down to the panhandle of Florida then down to Tampa, over to Orlando and back up I-95. After that trip I will be heading north all the way to NH with a number of stops along the way. I will be meeting Brian Saunder from "Pinballs from the past" to pickup 2 games from him that will be going down to Florida. I hope to find some games to give him for his trip west to Illinois. If anyone has any deals in the works let me know ASAP. No commitment on your part. It just helps me plan. One other bit of news. While in Omaha I stopped at the distributor I used when I lived in Omaha. During my stop I went out on a few service calls with one of the salesman. When we returned after hours, we went in the back door. Just inside the door was a Monster Bash in very good condition except for the cabnet arts normal route wear and tear. I made an offer and the next day he called and said it was mine. Brian Saunders will be picking it up and bringing it to me in PA maybe at the end of this month or at the fall Allentown show. As always if you have any game transportation needs let me know. I love meeting you all and seeing you great collections. Thanks for reading and God Bless. Don

I'm Back?

The answer to your question is simple. I have posted before. When I attempted to post last night the system would not take my password. I ended up starting over with a new account. Sorry for the confusion. I am on the pinball newsgroups for the most part but have had a number of requests to keep you video guys updated on my trips. My trailer is 7 foot tall so I can move most upright video. I hope I can help with moving video's for the people on this forum in the future. I cover most of the east coast. Call or e-mail me with any questions. Thanks Don

Guys I need to speak up here...I had Don do some deliveries for me and another local here in the Pittsburgh and he is top notch...He's not Dave and not a scammer...he is offering a great alternative for delivery as opposed to getting raped by NAVL delivery charges...
I had him deliver four games and he was a super guy to deal with and took great care to make sure the games arrived in perfect condition. He actually went out of his way to make my delivery happen so don't scare him from the boards by accusing him of being someone he is not. Anyone who is thinking of having some games delivered at a great price give Don a call..you won't be sorry.

Game transportation on the east coast

Hi again group. My name is Don Bosworth and I live just north of Raleigh NC. I have been a route operator since the late 60's. I have done some local repair for home owners. At one point I was a district manager for Aladins Castle with 12 stores in 3 states. I must admit I prefer the pinball side of the hobby but have a few vids in my collection. I got into the game transportation part of the business because income from my route was so bad. I also like being on the road and meeting other collectors. As I said I am going south as soon as my trailer return from the repair shop and then a trip up to NH with stops along the way. I charge $200.00 plus any tolls. Your game can go from Florida to PA. Thanks to Rick I think, who made the possitive comments. I'm new to most of you but hope to earn your trust. If you have any question feel free to call:

That's a great service you are offering (at a great price) and Roadrunner's vote of confidence is all people around here need. Best of luck.

And since I'm in PA, I may use your service one of these days. Do you make it up to North East PA?

I think Don does a lot of business when the pinball shows pop up with deals that are made by collectors attending so maybe when the York or Allentown shows come up you might be able to work in a drop off near your location..Give Don a call or email..he's really easy to work with...and he maps out his routes to give you a really good time as to when he will arrive..which really helps out those of us who have crazy work and life schedules..

Roadrunners comments are right on. I will be in PA the first week in Aug. I have 2 pickups in the Philadelphia area and 3 in New Hampshire. If you think you may have a pickup let me know ASAP. If your deal goes bad that's OK. It just helps me plan my route if I have some idea on possible pickup. I understand every deal does not work out. I look forward to helping you all with your game transportation needs. Don. [email protected]
