For the first time in a few weeks. Was able to get in one game of Tempest (finally put a new HS on my newly repaired boardset) and 2 games of Galaxian in (between bouts of my newborn crying and my 2 year old asking for different Transformers to be brought down from the top of my Popeye machine in the other arcade). My Tempest score wasn't record-breaking or anything, but it's nice to have the top score for now (25,000). The machine has been down for the better part of a year with various ailments. My old boardset had someone's scores that were into the hundreds of thousands that I could never have hoped to have beaten, so it's nice to be able to even get my name registered on this machine again. The next high score table I need to get my name back on is Asteroids Deluxe. That's one thing that sucks about having arcade parties. There's always someone better than you.

One thing about having a small apartment & games: when you don't have the time to play them, they're in your face, mocking your chaotic life and reminding you that you're neglecting them. And I don't even have kids...sad!

Glad you got your game on. I need to do the same.

I hope you play every one of my games tomorrow Phetty, and have more fun than ever doing it.

Cap'n Kidd, Sea Wolf and probably Wizard or Wor will get a lot of play from me. Missile Command as well. Hey, you ever get either of your other two EM shooters working?

Unfortunately both Arctic Gun and Wild Kingdom are still down. Andre is bringing along a game I just bought (secret), and taking Arctic Gun home with him for repair. Don't forget about Gun Fight, man that game is going to steal the show believe me. It's so fun....

I got to play pinball for a couple of hours yesterday, and it was a lot of fun. Still finding things that need to be adjusted pretty often, but it is getting closer to being able to just play them. I am going to attach the seats to the Hydro Thunders tonight so I can hopefully get some play time in over the weekend.

Congrats on getting the Tempest playable again. You have inspired me to go work on mine so I can play it again too. Tempest is the best game to own; if I have 10 minutes to kill, I can play like 50 games or so. lol

Yeah, a chunk of my Surf Planet, well the PCB, I got from eBay, and I don't know who set those scores, but I can't even come close to touching them. Well, I got lucky on 1 track, but the others, there is just no way.

I am also going to ask what you guys think: Is it wrong to find a way to reset the board to get blank scores and set your own, or should I keep them and work to get that high of a score? I am just asking your preference
