Finally Got a Smash TV

Yes, assuming she has wanted one since before she started collecting. If she's wanted a Smash TV since the first time she played one back in 1990, then that means she has wanted one for 20 years. I think saying she 'finally' got one is permissible, no?

You douchebags take the forums *WAY* too seriously.

Do you have an email addy I can send to? I'm not sure how to post pix here. Robotron kicks butt in a smashtv cab. The game sounds and looks great in the smashtv and the joysticks feel better than the originals. Just played on a nice robotron a couple weeks ago and I've ditched plans to add a dedicated. If space wasn't at such a premium, I'd like one someday. Controls are wired to P1 move and fire.

Had I had a clue this was possible, I may have kept my Smash TV. Oh well, it is being enjoyed by another Member (not the OP).

I would like to see that as well.

Smash TV rocks, i got one and play it all the time, and its always a hit when guests are over. Its insane to think alot of the members here are into the old old classic games, and think anyone who likes the games from the late 80's early to mid 90s are stupid for getting those games.

I can tell ya now, when i have guests over people look at my Targ machine and laugh at how much they think the game "sucks" and they go play x men, area 51 or smash tv. lol. However i was born in 86' so my golden era of arcades was in the 90s so that might make a difference.

I'll be sending some pix to m_McGovern Sometime this week and he's offered to post for all to see. I was originally going to follow JeffC's lead and run smash and total carnage, but stuffmonger suggested throwing in my jammatized robotron pcb in response to me telling him I was on the hunt for a dedicated. It has turned out great so far, just wish there was a reliable 3in1 grr

Congrats on smash tv. But Total Carnage is nowhere as good or even a sequel to smash tv. totally different games.

Agreed. Total Carnage isn't nearly as good as Smash TV.

Would be cool to have Robotron in there too (or a JROK board.) You could probably play Splat! on there too if the control mappings match the Smash TV mappings. I've never actually tried playing that with two people.
