Finally get it working... Long live Gorf

Great, now whenever you want to sell it let me know! :)

Joking aside, Gorf is a pretty cool game, and I'll be trying to get one way or another. I love games with that old computerized speech.

I hadn't played Gorf until I got one a few months ago, that's a GREAT game. Really underrated classic, very well designed, awesome cabinet, the speech is cool as hell, really fun to play. Masterpiece by Midway!

The game looks great.... Couple things:

Are you going to replace the control panel overlay with a metal reproduction that has the original control design?

Jay Fenton designed the game but he is now a she and goes by the name Jaime Fenton (not sure on spelling). Very cool person to talk to if you ever get the chance.

Gorf is a great game and the cab is sweet looking the only thing I couldn't get working on mine right are the two small mini lights in the joystick that I never knew were there.

What did you have to do to fix it?

Ed Lutz did a ton of work to the boardset, and he also patched up my power supply and joystick optic boards. Can't thank him enough. I didnt do much beyond diagnosing (with the help of my Space Zap), cap kit on the WG4600, new fuse block and some heavy duty cleaning.

I updated the Gorf page on my site if you want to check it out.

It's good to see another one alive and working!;)
