FINALLY! Gameroom carpet!

I feel good when I go down there to game. It gives you a sense of not being home, so you can get away from it all without going anywhere.

That says it all right there!

Our game room is a room back off of the garage, which is a separate detached garage. In order to go to the game room we have to go outside and walk over to that building. It makes it feel like you have actually gone someplace without actually getting in the car and leaving home.

I don't know about you guys, but when I'm in my gameroom with everything on it almost seems like time stands still. I'll be out there for hours - sometimes with the wife and kids too - and my wife will ask me...do you know what time it is? Well, I won't because I have no clocks out there and three or four hours will have passed and it seems like only one or less.

Amazing! I love gamerooms. MacP., keep up the good work, it looks great!

Thanks!

I have to agree with all the comments about carpet being important, making the room a "time capsule". I have held off just because of the expense, almost passed on this as it wasn't the exact pattern I had in mind. Definitely worked out and it's easily worth the price of a machine to generate the atmosphere of a time long past. One reason I have the soda cooler and bubble gum and candy machines. First question I hear now is "That's at your house???"

Just love it, an 80's escape pod.

Speaking of which, got the 80's music videos, anyone know where to get a DVD set of 80's TV commercials?
